2021 Open Season

Through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program (FEP), we have the honor and privilege of providing health, dental and vision coverage to federal employees, portions of the military, retirees and their families.

With Open Season running November 8th through December 13th, we want to help you stay informed and connected.

First, whether you’ve been one of our members for years or are new to our program, we’re proud to be your partner in health. You can count on us for one of the largest provider networks, which includes 95% of doctors in the U.S. You can also enjoy rewarding incentives, telehealth services for 24/7 care and benefits that work overseas. In addition, BCBS FEP Dental and BCBS FEP Vision offer comprehensive coverage at affordable rates.

You can take a look at some of the changes and updates we’re making to our health plan in 2022. You can also see what’s new for our dental plan and vision plan next year. Keep in mind that if you’re happy with your current coverage, you don’t have to do anything. Your coverage will automatically carry over next year.

But if you want to make sure you have the right coverage, we have some online tools that can help you make the best FEP choice.

Our Prescription Drug Cost Tool can help you search for the lowest drug prices in your area and see which drugs are covered under your plan.


We’re here for you

We also encourage you to join our Open Season virtual health fair on December 2nd. You’ll get more information about our benefits and can ask our representatives any questions about our coverage.

Just call the number on the back of your member ID card or use the fepblue mobile app to access your personal information on your device.
