About 15 of every 100 U.S. adults currently smoke. That's 36.5 million Americans despite the research proving the harmful effects of tobacco. Why? Because it's addictive. Because quitting is hard. Because you haven't found the right time, program or reason.

But we’re here to help by providing the right tools and resources to keep you motivated along the way. With the Tobacco Cessation Incentive Program, you’ll get tips and support and be eligible to earn wellness incentives plus a range of smoking and tobacco cessation drugs at no charge.

Here’s how to join:
  1. Take the Blue Health Assessment and indicate that you use tobacco*
  2. Set a Quit Tobacco goal and then a Quit Plan with the Online Health Coach
  3. Get a prescription from your doctor for your eligible tobacco cessation drugs, including over-the-counter products
  4. Pick up your free medication at a Preferred retail pharmacy

Your incentive will be available 4-5 days after you submit your Quit Plan. Regular prescription drug benefits will apply to smoking and tobacco cessation drugs not meeting these criteria.
