BCBS FEP Vision offers the coverage you want — especially when you use our network
Two great plan options
High Option
- Best for people who want a plan that covers the highest value benefits, including a larger frame or contact lens allowance and no-cost lens treatments, for a higher premium
- A $200 frame allowance that covers over 80% of national retailers’ frames in full
- $0 cost transition lenses and $50 off all progressive lenses compared to the Standard Option lens pricing
- Pay nothing for evaluation, fitting and follow-up for non-specialty contact lenses
Standard Option
- Best for people who want a plan that covers basic vision services with access to over 200,000 eye care providers nationwide, fully-covered, comprehensive vision care exams and a lower premium
- You get a $140 frame allowance toward any pair of frames not in the Exclusive Collection, plus 20% off charges over $140
- Or, in lieu of frames, you can get $140 per calendar year toward contact lenses, plus 15% off charges over $140
- Contact lens evaluations are covered with a $55 copay for fitting and follow-up for non-specialty lenses
