What’s New for 2021
Check out the changes and updates to the Service Benefit Plan in 2021.

We’re always working to improve our coverage to better meet your and your family’s healthcare needs. Here are the changes and updates we’re making to our three benefit plans in 2021.

All members enjoy expanded telehealth coverage
We will now cover online or phone telehealth visits you receive from your primary care providers or specialists who are outside of our contracted Teladoc network. For most non-Teladoc telehealth visits, you’ll pay your standard primary care and specialist copays.

Changes to all of our plans
We’re providing preventive care benefits for:
- Bowel preparation medications associated with colon cancer screenings (limited to your first prescription fill)
- Certain HIV medications (known as antiretroviral therapy) for members at risk for HIV
- Hepatitis C screenings for members 18 years or older
The Hypertension Management Program will be limited to the contract holder and spouse on your contract over the age of 18. If you are a Standard or Basic Option member, you must complete the Blue Health Assessment (BHA) to receive the free blood pressure monitor.
All chest X-rays will now be covered under your regular medical benefits. Previously, we covered one per calendar year for adults as part of your preventive benefit.
MyStrength by Livongo will be available to all Service Benefit Plan members. Offering tools, videos and daily inspiration, this personalized program can help you cope with everyday stressors—all at no cost. Get help with stress, anxiety, sleep and much more.
