Start Your Health Action Plan

Find out about your health by taking our Blue Health Assessment. This quick online tool uses information you provide about your current health status and habits to give you personalized feedback, identifying potential health risks along with suggested actions and talking points to help you discuss any health issues with your doctor.

In 2011, you have another good reason to complete the Blue Health Assessment. If you have Standard Option, we will apply $50 to your calendar year deductible for each person who completes a Blue Health Assessment, up to $100 under a family enrollment. If you have Basic Option, you will get a $35 health debit card to use for qualified medical expenses when you complete your Blue Health Assessment. Family contracts are eligible for two $35 cards. Make 2011 the year of your better health and add completing the Blue Health Assessment to your calendar for 2011.

Exercise is recommended for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It can also help improve your medical condition if you have heart disease, diabetes, or other health concerns. Our WalkingWorks® program is a good start for any exercise routine. Walking is an easy way to tone your body, lose some weight and just become more physically active.

We provide a walking plan with the WalkingWorks participant guide that gives you tips on walking and helps you establish a walking goal. You can also get a pedometer to measure your steps as you walk. You can order a pedometer, access the participant guide and keep track of your progress after you enroll.

Organize Your Health Records

MyBlue Personal Health Record is an online personal health record that allows you to store all of your health information in a central location, with the ability to view, update and print your health information to share with your doctor. When possible, the record is automatically updated from claims records.

Customer eService gives you instant access to all your enrollment information when it is convenient for you.  You can request duplicate ID cards and change your address online any time.  Plus you can make changes to individuals covered under your enrollment due to the birth or adoption of a child, your marriage or your divorce.  Customer eService is like having your own personal customer service representative helping you when you need it and on your time schedule.

Online Explanation Of Benefits

You can decide to go paperless and access your explanation of benefits online through Customer eService .  You can see and print information for claims processed for you and your family.  To opt-in to the paperless program, just select the EOB Mailing Preference link under Member Claims and Eligibility link under the Customer eService feature.

SNAPforSeniors

SNAPforSeniors (Search New Available Places) simplifies the difficult process of finding appropriate senior housing options by providing members with the Senior Housing Locator - an online tool to access a current, comprehensive database of more than 60,000 senior housing communities.
